A sandy beach that is perfect for families with children and for water activities: kayaking, stand up paddling, sailing, shore fishing and kite flying, and in summer there is a beach volleyball court.

Minimes beach, which lies opposite the mythical Bout du Monde Lighthouse, has splendid views of Fort Boyard and the islands of Ré and Oléron out at sea. It is located on the edge of the large Parc des Pères, the starting point for a wonderful walk along the cliffs.
