La Rochelle
To the south of La Rochelle, in the town of Aytré, Platin beach is a big 1.7 km sandy beach backed by small dunes. It stretches as far as the town of Angoulins between the Pointes du Roux and Pointes du Chay. You can also enjoy a walk along the coast dotted with fishing nets.
