Explore the salt marshes of île de Ré: after visiting the exhibition, where the theme changes from year to year, a guide will use a model to explain how the salt marsh works before accompanying you to the site. On the visit you will find out all about the work of a salt merchant and the flora specific to the marshes: samphire, statis and mustard and, depending on the season, migratory birds: barnacle geese, common shelducks, egrets, and so forth.
